The past couple weeks

Hello readers!! Its been almost a month since I have been in beautiful British Columbia and i'm loving every minute of it. I haven't done a whole lot of touristy things yet because I am alone but today I am going to walk around Elk Lake. For those of you who don't know, this is where the Canadian Rowing team practice. Not like that matters to me but its a fun fact. A couple weekends ago, My sister Candice and friend Carley came across to visit. It was just like old times hanging out with Carley. I can't wait for the next time she visits. Candice and me hiked up Mount Doug and played 21 in basketball. I recently found both a basketball court and tennis court super close to my house.
The next week was a long and boring one alone including an interview which I did not get. The next weekend though!! I got to go across to Surrey to see my sister Leia, who cut and colored my hair and got to hang out with Candice and my Dad who was visiting. It was such a great weekend!! Now I'm preparing my self for Monday. I start my new job then!!!!! The place is callled Viking Air Ltd. They are a service and distribution place for airplanes of a certain model. Its quite neat and I'm super excited to have something to look forward to in the week. I will be their receptionist working 830-5 Monday through Friday. This has been what I have been waiting for my whole life to work in a office like this. Jobs are the best place to meet new friends as well so I am excited for that as well. In less than 2 weeks, Kyle is coming to visit!! I am so excited to show him around and spend some time with my best friend. Then, in a couple more weeks my Mom is coming to visit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So the month of October should be a great one!!!
Well I gotta go get my working out clothes on so I can go for my hour and a half walk. Hope everyone is doing well. I sure miss the store back home. :(

Hey folks! Well I am all settled into my new place and am still on the job search. My place is small and cozy but i like it. Gizmo loves it too. Lots of windows for him to look out of so I guess that's all he needs. I have enjoyed the lazy days that I have had to myself and to just chill at home. I have got to see quite a few people I knew before when I lived out here 4 years ago so it's nice to catch up. I have been missing the Liquor  Store at home lots. I miss seeing all my customers and hearing about their day. If your reading this Vicki, I miss seeing your smile and chatting with you. I hope everyone is still doing well there. This week will be more eventful after the move in and what not. I have plans for coffee or maybe a movie with my friend Brittney and Becah too. This weekend, my sister Candice has a wedding in Nanaimo so I will be picking her up on Saturday and hanging out on Sunday which should be alot of fun. I haven't been outside enjoying the weather much because it is just not the same by yourself. So Mt.Doug and maybe some beach time on Sunday. Saturday, my friend Carley might come across from Vancouver as well so I will be super excited if that works out. It has been so long. So.....in other words I am happy being out here. Takes some getting used to being on my own but I like it and I especially love going anywhere and not being known. A fresh start in life. Well thats all I got right now but look for more later this week :)
